Tommy Boy Fest 2025 – Sandusky, Ohio
I was honored to be a featured vendor at Tommy Boy Fest in Sandusky, Ohio, celebrating one of my favorite comedy films. Throughout the weekend, I met fans from across the country and had the opportunity to share my Tommy Boy-inspired artwork with the people who helped bring the movie to life.
One of the highlights of the event was meeting members of the cast, the film's director, and Chris Farley's brother. Each of them received one of my Tommy Boy prints—a truly unforgettable moment and a milestone in my journey as an artist.
Michigan "I Voted" Sticker Contest Finalist 2026
My original sticker design was selected as a finalist in Michigan's statewide "I Voted" Sticker Contest. The contest celebrates creativity while encouraging civic participation, with finalists chosen from artists across the state. Having my work recognized as one of the finalist designs was an exciting honor and an opportunity to share my artwork with a wider audience.
Grand Haven Sand Sculpture Contest
Since 2024, I've competed in the Grand Haven Sand Sculpture Contest, creating large-scale sculptures alongside talented artists from across the region. Over three consecutive years, my work has earned People's Choice First Place (2024–2026), an award especially meaningful because it is voted on by the public.
In addition to the People's Choice awards, my sculptures received First Place from the judges in 2024 and 2025, followed by Second Place in 2026. The contest has been an incredible opportunity to challenge myself creatively, connect with the community, and create art in a completely different medium.
Featured Artist at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel During ArtPrize
During ArtPrize, I was invited to be the featured artist at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I displayed my collection of hand-sculpted Funny Food Magnets, sharing my whimsical creations with thousands of ArtPrize visitors and hotel guests throughout the event.
Being selected as the hotel's featured artist was a wonderful opportunity to introduce my work to a wider audience, connect with visitors from around the country, and be part of the excitement surrounding one of the world's largest public art events.
Grand Rapids Comic Con 2025
I had an incredible time exhibiting at Grand Rapids Comic Con 2025, where I shared my pop culture-inspired artwork with thousands of movie, TV, and comic fans. It was a weekend filled with great conversations, meeting fellow artists and collectors, and seeing people connect with the nostalgia behind my work.
The enthusiasm from everyone who stopped by my booth made this one of my favorite events, and I can't wait to be back!
